iCloud sync is automatic if you're signed into iCloud on your device. To verify: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud, and make sure iCloud Drive is enabled. Forget Golf will automatically sync your data across all your devices signed into the same iCloud account.
Yes! If you have iCloud enabled, your swing thoughts, course strategies, and highlights will automatically sync across all your iPhone devices signed into the same Apple ID.
To delete a swing thought, swipe left on the thought in the category view. To delete a course, go to Course Management, tap on the course, and use the delete option. You can also archive thoughts instead of deleting them to preserve your history.
Archiving saves your old swing thoughts in a separate archive so you can review them later and see how your game has evolved. Deleting permanently removes the thought. We recommend archiving when you want to update a thought but keep a record of what worked before.
Absolutely. Your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled). We never see, access, or collect your golf notes. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Yes! Your data is automatically backed up through your iPhone's regular iCloud or iTunes backups. If you restore your iPhone from a backup, all your Forget Golf data will be restored as well.
First, make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID and have iCloud Drive enabled. Then try these steps:
1. Pull down to refresh on the main screen
2. Make sure both devices have an active internet connection
3. Wait a few minutes for iCloud to sync
4. If the issue persists, contact support with details about both devices.
There's no limit! You can add as many courses as you'd like and save hole-by-hole strategies for each one.
Currently, data export is handled through iCloud sync and iPhone backups. If you need a specific export feature, please contact us with your use case and we'll consider it for a future update.
